Meet Our Investigators
David D’Amato is the owner of Buffalo Security & Investigation and retired from the Dade County Sheriffs Department after a 20 year career. During his career, he was assigned to numerous investigation units including general investigation and organized crime narcotics. He worked directly under state attorney general Janet Reno and was detached to the FBI, US Marshals and the DEA on numerous cases. In his final few years in Miami, he was assigned to the mounted patrol. After moving back to Buffalo, David joined the Erie County Mounted Patrol in 2004. David has also worked private investigation for CSI national agency on workman’s compensation cases, and is a licensed New York State Private Investigator. David is a member of the United States Association of Professional Investigators.
Joseph Joseph spent 33 years with the Erie County Sheriffs Department and is the director of private investigation for Buffalo Security & Investigation. Mr. Joseph was assigned to the courts, where he has an extensive background in the judicial systems. He has worked as an investigator for Evan Kenner Investigation, and has served numerous court documents.
Joe Carlo retired from the Buffalo New York police department after a 29 year career. He spent 18 years on patrol and an additional 11 years with the accident investigation unit. He is a New York State certified breathalyzer operator 5 times recertified. New York State crash management trained and is an experienced accident investigator. Joe also has testified in hundreds of DWI trials, with a high rate of full intoxication convictions. He was an active member in the DWI task force patrol, and worked in the hit and run unit for in the city of Buffalo prior to joining the Accident Investigation Unit.
Bob Galbraith has 30 years experience working for the IRS. He retired as Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the Buffalo, New York office. He also has 7 years experience as Chief Investigator Buffalo, New York office for the New York State Department of Taxation. His Investigative highlights include Money Laundering, Tax Evasion, Health Care Fraud, Smuggling, Alcohol and Narcotics, Illegal foreign and Domestic Trusts, Bank Secrecy Act violations. During his career, Bob developed, monitored, and re-designed national criminal investigation programs and policies and was honored 14 times for distinguished performance in supervision. He received both his undergraduate and MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
